Alam group of Companies was among the numerous companies which showcased their products at the this year’s annual International UMA Trade fair that ran from 4th -10th October and attracted huge crowds.
In his message to the Traders, Mr. Abid Alam who took over from Hon James Mulwana as ChairmanUMA Advisory Council called upon the Traders to “remain firm and stand united in order to have a stronger voice to able to lobby Government for more conducive business policies.
The fair was a platform that Alam group used to market its products like the LPG Gas Product from Oxygas that drew a lot of attention from visitors The star attraction this year at the ALAM Group’s exhibition hall was the slideshow of the various companies on the huge 42-inch LED screen and the accompanying music. The two best selling products were the Rhino gumboots and the Crocodile Chillington hoes.
The company that was highlighted this year was Steel Rolling Mills which had a special tent decorated in its corporate colour of blue and white erected outside the Alam Group Hall. The other companies that exhibited their products included: Rhino Footwear, Casements (A) Limited, Oxygas, Saimmico, Crocodile, HILTI, Karcher and Roof clad.
